Compass North Consulting enters into strategic alliance with Mandrake and Mega Experience to help organizations and businesses adapt and thrive during pandemic

New partnership enables the firm to provide a wide range of services to support clients trying to navigate the current environment

Compass North Consulting Inc., a Peterborough-based consulting firm, announced today that they have entered into a strategic alliance with Mandrake, a leading Canadian consulting firm, and Mega Experience, a leading marketing agency, to advise organizations and businesses on how to address the changes to their operations due to the coronavirus pandemic and thrive in the new normal.

Canadian small businesses have taken on $117 billion in new debt due to COVID-19, according to a recent survey by Canadian Federation of Independent Business. This strain is forcing businesses to shift their priorities or take a completely different direction that they might have not considered before businesses were closed to contain the virus.

Partnering with Mandrake, who specializes in executive recruitment, and Mega Experience, who focuses on brand development, design and strategic marketing, allows Compass North Consulting to expand their services to include consulting, facilitation, executive search, strategic planning and redesign, all founded on solid analysis, creative thinking, strategy and vision.

“I’m impressed by the resilience and creativity that so many organizations have demonstrated over the last few months. The task now is to maintain and capitalize on that innovative momentum, while focusing on the future. That is hard to do when change-fatigue sets in, but it’s absolutely necessary,” says partner Tony Tilly.

“As the pandemic continues, we had to pivot our efforts and develop a plan to support businesses and organizations that are continuing to navigate so many unknowns. Our goal is to deliver solutions that allow our clients to control costs, manage their resources, increase revenue opportunities and improve overall operational efficiency,” he adds.

“We can provide much greater help to organizations by bringing together people who have complementary expertise. Working with Mandrake and Mega Experience will provide a wide range of expertise in support of organizational renewal and redesign,” says partner Sonia Crook.

The collaborative partnership of Tilly and Crook began with their leadership positions at Fleming College, where Tilly was president from 2004 to 2018, and Crook held the role vice-president of Human Resources, Strategic Planning and Student Services. Their roles were heavily focused on strategy and reimagining work, and that expertise has carried over into their consulting work where they enjoy working with the ‘big picture’ and solving problems for clients.
